Bentley
Brief
To design a Development Laboratory suite within the Bentley HQ. The space was to be forward looking but still retain a sense of the heritage of the Bentley brand.
Challenge
The Development Laboratory had to be a flexible space that will allow the Bentley design team to gain feedback on a range of future products. The space had to be able to display everything from a new car strereo control panel through to a new car. Wall displays and furniture all had to have the ability to be quickly changed to suit a multitude of layouts and functions.
Result
An angled display plinth system echoing speed and movement was designed which can be configured both in width, length and height to display elements of varying sizes. Modular wall panels which all have a plug and play capability and exchangeable graphic system provide the flexibility that was required by the client. Bespoke furniture upholstered in the Bentley workshop injects the quality and heritage expected from such a distinguished brand.
