Billington Cartmell came to Platform for further refurbishment work to their offices. This time we were asked to review the entrance and reception areas to create a cost effective, high impact environment.
Being on a curve, the reception space was difficult to plan, requiring custom designed furniture and wall cladding. In addition, the client required a large storage area to cater for the numerous deliveries they receive during the working day.
Using a material more commonly associated with exterior signage, Platform designed a ‘bar code’ cladding system housing the company identity and monitors updated with current projects. All the furniture was designed to fit the curve of the building using buttoned padding to walls and seats.
