Glo (Reading)
Brief
The first in a chain of Asian/Italian Fusion restaurant bars. Glo is a comfy, relaxed eating experience. Platform’s brief was to create a friendly, welcoming environment with a signature design through which the brand could always be recognised.
Challenge
Glo wanted to create a destination environment where customers could meet for drinks and stay for something to eat, be it dim sum or pizza.
Result
Aimed at a more casual dining clientele, Glo has been carefully crafted to offer a total destination drinking and eating experience, rather than eat and go. Approachable, not stuffy.
A combination of lounge bar area, intimate small seating and large two metre square tables, cater for large and small groups and gives the restaurant a vibrant mix of eating and drinking spaces.
