American Express Invites Lounge @ The O2

Challenge

Platform was asked to create a space that reflects the premium live entertainment experience at The O2, and accommodate a diverse audience demographic.

The
Thinking

Platform understood the need to treat VIP’s as the stars and designed the space from an artist’s perspective as a backstage experience.

The
Answer

To flex for different crowds multi-level seating areas, private dining suites and booths were created.

We also designed various bespoke items, from wallpaper made from tickets, to rugs and carpets with the crowd from The O2’s first concert to mixing desks screen printed onto table tops.

This delivers a quirky, flexible, and engaging pre and post show experience with stories in the details and materials that creates a narrative for hosts to tell to their guests.

The
Effect

The hugely successful American Express Invites Lounge at the O2 broke the mould for paid for hospitality experiences.
