Sony wanted to create a stand out presence at Terminal 5 Heathrow Airport, to showcase new products, 3D innovation and the launch of their make.believe campaign.
The brief required an experience that was immersive and entertaining and that had a major visual impact. It had to be an arena to present Sony products and be a flexible solution to allow content and product to be refreshed in line with Sony’s calendar of messaging.
An eye-catching, conical, spiral structure, integrating lighting and technology that enabled visitors to view real products on the outside and have an immersive experience on the inside.
Despite the enormous challenges of building airside, the installation was a great success in attracting travellers through the airport and giving Sony a stand out presence adjacent to their existing retail unit.
