Vodafone Paddington L&D Centre

SCROLL DOWN

The
Challenge

Vodafone needed a new home for their Learning and Development centre. They wanted a larger, dedicated space to support continual engagement and learning reinforcement.

The
Thinking

We wanted to create a nurturing space built around the theme of a community garden. Concepts around plant, tend, create, harvest and share were used to create zones.

The
Answer

Platform used a subtle design language based on materials found in the garden. Living walls and live planting were integrated and a fresh natural colour palette was chosen. Meeting booths had greenhouse-style glazing and plywood was used to replicate fences and outbuildings.

The
Effect

When people enter, they join a community space that encourages sharing ideas, creativity and working together. This fresh take on learning, combined with the contemporary design, creates
the perfect environment for people to nurture their skills.
