Vodafone required a new home for their L&D centre.
An environment to support continual engagement and learning reinforcement.
A place “far from the office”.
The thought process was to provide an environment based on an urban garden community.
This route explores different types of urban community gardens. This is a nurturing process around the ideas of :
plant : nurture : tend : create : harvest : share
Platform used a subtle design language based on the vernacular and materials used in garden and building design with a twist.
Glazing on small meeting booths was broken up to reflect greenhouses, living walls and live planting were integrated and a fresh natural colour palette was chosen with plywood used in inventive ways to replicate contemporary fences and outbuildings.
When people enter the space the community themes come into play of sharing ideas, exchanging thoughts and togetherness.
This experience combined with a contemporary designed space gives the desired “far from office“ solution
