Vodafone Speechmark
SCROLL DOWN
The
Challenge
Vodafone wanted to make one of its London sites into a digital hub. The existing building was tired and unremarkable with awkward traffic flow inside and no connection between floors. A radical solution was needed for this to become a suitable home for their digital teams.

The
Thinking
With research into how the teams worked it was decided that a new external extension would resolve the flow through the space and provide a central hub for users. This would also give Vodafone a powerful architectural statement to reflect their position as a leading digital and telecoms company.

The
Answer
A glass extension provides the architectural impact and a cathedral proportioned space, bringing natural light into the whole building. Facing outwards, large screens signals the buildings digital purpose.
To connect the floors a feature central spine forms the stair and this together with a ground floor café gives the space a lively buzz and identity.
New agile floors, presentation suites, demo areas and collaboration zones make the Speechmark a signature digital hub for Vodafone.

The
Effect
The transformed building has given Vodafone the required dramatic central London home that will help propel the company into the digital future.
