How can you tell complex technology stories in a way that engages your audience rather than switches them off? this is the problem that Vodafone had when they came to introducing new products to market including IoT and 5G. so they challenged Platform to find ways in which they could share their technologies in engaging and futuristic way.

Utilising the concept of storytelling through visual imagery and interaction, Platform created a digital 3D World through which users could navigate, learning about products and services as they went.

V city told stories about IoT and 5G in context relating it to an environment in which users felt familiar, a cityscape.

Effect

Good stories do more than create a sense of connection. They help people understand and remember. they help people to retell the story to others rather than getting lost in superfluous information. in this way Vodafone were able to avoid traditional methods of presentation like PowerPoint and engage users in a self-serve interactive journey.
