Noci Battersea
SCROLL DOWN
The
Challenge
Noci wanted to open a new Italian restaurant in Battersea Power Station. They already had a site in Islington, designed by Platform, so they wanted us to develop their brand further for this iconic location.
The
Thinking
With the heavy industrial setting of Turbine Hall One as a backdrop, we needed to create a more intimate collection of spaces. Balancing the two was the key to the project’s success.
The
Answer
Careful, textured material choices in earthy tones create a warm, eclectic mix that gently shines in the industrial setting. To welcome everyone there is a wide variety of seating – everything from large group tables to more date dining. Lighting also played a key role, defining spaces and creating intimacy.
The
Effect
They have a new home to serve their fresh, silken pasta, Sicilian street-food with cocktails on-tap. A place that doesn’t compromise their Italian roots but sits comfortably in the robust industrial space of the Turbine Hall One.
